Bel Patra - Silver

Offering Procedure:  

1. Place the Silver Bel Patra between your palms and chant specific manifestation / desire for 11 times.
2. Offer the manifested Silver Bel Patra on the Shiva Lingam.
3. You can also offer other items like water, milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, and flowers along with the Silver Bel Patra.
4. Chant “Om Namah Shivaya” for 21 times and conclude the ritual with prayers and seeking blessings.

 

Mythological Importance of Silver (Chandi) Bel Patra: 

1. Using a silver Bel Patra adds a level of sanctity and purity to the ritual. Silver, being a precious metal, is often associated with purity, prosperity, and good health.
2. Lord Shiva is considered to be associated with Moon and Moon rules Silver, so using a silver Bel Patra impresses Lord Shiva.
3. It is known that offering Silver Bel Patra makes your manifestation and desires fulfill quickly.
4. According to Hindu mythology, the Bel tree emerged from the sweat of Goddess Parvati, and its leaves are considered to be dear to Lord Shiva. Hence, offering Bel Patra is highly auspicious.
